Four, Five, and Six Months Old

 October, 2021

I'll start off by apologizing to future Josephine is she reads this.  I haven't put up an update about her in three months! Three kids and full time working is no joke. The only reason this post is making it up today is because the big sisters are spending a long weekend and Grandma's house😊. Sorry Josephine!

Josephine continues to be an amazing baby. She is very smiley and happy most of the time. Her favorite thing to do is watch her older sisters be silly and run around the house.  I'm sure she can't wait until she can chase after them.

Josephine has decided she doesn't like sleeping anymore. She is up about 3 times a night right now.  It's hard, but I feel like knowing she is our last baby it is a little easier and I really do love our nighttime snuggles.

She had her first food a couple of weeks ago. She has started with bananas and loved them. She was really into carrots and sweet potatoes but seemed to hate pears. 

Josephine is scooting all around the floor and around her crib. If I put her on a blanket she often ends up 2 feet off the blanket in a few minutes.

Three Months Old

 July 2021

We are enjoying our summer (except for the excessive amount of mosquitos). Josephine is changing so much. She is really enjoying tummy time and likes to stand up in your arms. She is smiling and just beginning some soft laughs.  This month we had visitors from both sides of the family. It has been an amazing summer!

Two Months Old

June 2021

This month we got to get Josephine more out and about. Week took a long awaited trip to Cadillac to visit Grandmama and Bapa and had another visit from Grammy too. Josephine is sleeping through the night and still pretty fussy during the day. Mostly it is because she wants to sleep so much during the day too that she doesn't want to wake for too long to play or eat.  Photo dump below!

One Month Old

 May 6th, 2021

Josephine is one month old!

Time is flying by and our little girl is growing fast! She was just about back at her birth weight at her two week pediatrician appointment and through the words of our doctor "She is perfect!".  She has been a pretty easy baby so far (knock on wood).  After the first week she started having longer stretches of sleep and now regularly gets up only once (occasionally twice) a night! She has two loving sisters who like to kiss her and snuggle her often. We have started to see some small social smiles and we can't wait to see her personality start to come out more!

Adrienne is definitely the most snuggly with her. So much so that we often have to tell her to dial it back a bit.

I love this apple hat and have pictures of all three girls wearing it.

She doesn't seem to mind the car seat for our quick trips to daycare drop-off.  We haven't had any long drives yet.

Josephine has started to really focus on faces.
