Spring Break

Josh and I just got back from our first ever trip outside of Michigan together.  You heard me right, in our 11 years of being together we have not even ONCE gone on a vacation together more than a few hours away (other than a few trips to Cedar Pointe and the road trip to New York for Andrew and Shelly's wedding, which was a blast, but not a true "vacation").  I know it sounds boring, but we both love Michigan and all it has to offer, and we are pretty big homebodies so honestly we haven't been craving a far away trip.

However, since my parents moved down to Florida we have been missing spending time with them.  Plus a trip to warm and sunny Florida sure sounded nice after this harsh winter!  Below are a few pictures from the trip.  We didn't take too many pictures, but we had a great time visiting Disney's Hollywood Studies and spending time at the pool swimming with Annie Lou and Sam.  Josh said his favorite part of the trip was searching for fossilized sharks' teeth on the beach.  He found over 20 teeth!  I'm sure we will be taking many more trips to Florida in the future!

Josh in the "Star Wars" section at Hollywood Studies.  He waited in line with five kids under 8 to get his picture on this thing.  I love him:)

Josh's mom sent this pic of Bruce to us while we were gone.  He had a great time at camp, i.e., Josh's parents house
